Post-care Instructions
- For the next seven days you will cleanse eyebrows with a wipe or damp cotton round, and then apply healing balm when you wake up, and at night before you go to bed.
- Do not pour water on your brows in shower or submerge in a pool, ocean etc
- Avoid makeup on/around the eyebrow area for at least a week, preferably longer.
- Do not use an exfoliator on your brow area.
- Use gentle soap around your eyebrows. Cetaphil works great.
- Do not pick the scabs!
- Do not exercise or do any activity that will make you sweat a lot for at least a week.
- Do not thread or wax the area.
- Sun exposure can and will affect semi-permanent makeup.
- Any changes necessary will be done at your follow-up appointment. Your new brows are not complete until after the second appointment.
- If you have a reaction to this service, please contact a physician.
- Your lips will appear very bold and bright for the first 3 days, but will gain a more tinted natural look once they are healed!
- No kissing until lip skin is healed, which usually takes 3 days.
- Please refrain from exercising for at least 3 days.
- Starting on day 1, please use sterile water and a cotton gauze pad to wipe the affected area. Keep your lips moist at all times, healing lip balm ointment is recommended!
- By day 4, most of the peeling should be completed. Your lips will feel dry and chapped, keep moisturizing!
After the scabs come off, the color will appear soft and almost ‘frosty’ looking, but the color will come back little by little every day for 28 days. Keep them moisturized! - Do not pick, peel, or scratch your scabs, and no makeup until the scabs are gone!
- Avoid spicy foods, and direct contact with food and drinks for the next 2 days. Use a straw when drinking liquids.
- You may experience slightly puffy to swollen eyes and heavy lids for 24 hours. Your eyes may feel more swollen than they appear.
- Use sterile water and cotton gauze to wipe the affected area (only the first day following the procedure).
- Keep the affected area DRY for the next 7 days.
- No makeup, no creams, and no mascara for 7 days.
- No eye drops for 7 days.
- No exercising for 5 days.
- No Vaseline, Neosporin, or petroleum-based products for 10 days. This will cause premature fading
- Ice packs may be applied as necessary to reduce swelling.
- Do not scratch or pick!
- Blinking helps to eliminate the small pieces of pigment which have detached.
- The pigment will go away after the scabs fall but will come back little by little for 4 weeks.
