WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR BROWS

The process of getting permanent makeup eyebrows, also known as eyebrow tattooing or microblading, combo brows, or powder brows involves several steps. Here is a general outline of the process:

 

1. Consultation: You will have an initial consultation the day of your appt. During this consultation, we will discuss your desired eyebrow shape, look at inspiration pictures, color preferences, and address any questions or concerns you may have.

2. Numbing: A topical numbing cream will be applied to minimize any discomfort during the procedure. This will typically take effect within 30 minutes.

3. Designing: I will design your eyebrows by measuring your facial features and considering your preferences. You will then approve the shape before proceeding.

4. Color selection: Jessica will select the appropriate pigment color that matches your desired eyebrow shade and that best complements your skin tone. She may mix different pigments to achieve the desired color.

5. Pigmentation: Using a handheld tool or a special tattooing machine, Jessica will deposit pigment into the superficial layers of your skin. She will then follow the pre-drawn outline to create natural-looking, hair-like strokes or shading, depending on the technique chosen (Microblading, Combo Brows, Powder Brows).

6. Touch-ups: After the initial session, you will need one touch-up appointment. These are usually scheduled after 8-12 weeks to allow the initial pigmentation to heal and set properly. Touch-ups are necessary to fill any areas with faded pigmentation, to make adjustments, or to enhance the overall look of the eyebrows.

7. Aftercare: You will be provided with instructions on how to properly care for your newly tattooed eyebrows. This may include using specific ointments, avoiding certain activities or products, and protecting the treated area from excessive moisture or sunlight.
